Project Closure Document

Micro and Macro Dramaturgies in Dance (MMDD) was a three-year-long European research and training project (2019 - 2022) that brought together six leading contemporary dance organisations Anghiari Dance Hub and Marche Teatro (IT), Bora Bora Dance and Visual Theater (DK), Dance House Lemesos (CY), DansBrabant (NL) and Tanec Praha (CZ) to explore and develop through exchange and collaboration dance dramaturgy as a creative and socially conscious practice. The project was created, developed and collaboratively led by the partner organisations, coordinated by Tanec Praha, in collaboration with an international scientific team/curators: Maja Hriešik, Katalin Trencsényi, Anne-Marije van den Bersselaar, Guy Cools and Alexis Vassiliou. The project provided an opportunity for dramaturgs and choreographers working in these five countries for professional development and exchange.
